FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GLOBAL UNITED PAGEANT CROWNS ITS 2015 TITLEHOLDERS

Delegates from all over the world gathered in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA at the wonderful Holiday Inn July 29th-August 1st for the Global United Pageant™  international finals.

Contestants enjoyed a week filled with the royal treatment: gifts, great meals, tours and events and much more as pageant week was filled with great events and opportunities for
the delegates to meet new international friends and give back to the communities around them.

A community service based program, Global United™ gives its time and delegate’s talents to raising funds and awareness for Childhood Cancer Issues.

Wednesday afternoon found the delegates gathering together for the orientation and a meet-and-greet. The delegations arriving from all over the world opened the pageant week
meeting each other and sharing their stories over appetizers before heading to the Mall of America for shopping and fun.

Thursday events included morning rehearsals. The highlight of the day, and week, came as delegates added joy to the patients’ and families’ day at the University of Minnesota
Children’s Hospital as they organized a party and carnival fun for everyone. The evening’s return to the host hotel brought a gold banquet and talent show where Garima Gawali
from Nepal and Look Kah Hui from Malaysia took home the top awards for their talent performances. The night wrapped up with a pajama party as delegates tied blankets for the
patients of the hospital.

Friday, delegates completed rehearsals and loaded up vehicles to enjoy a spa day provided by the Minnesota Schools of Cosmetology. That evening, interviews began and
community service entries were reviewed. Michelle Hillman of Australia came out of the evening with the overall score for Community Service and Rachel Campbell of Wisconsin
took overall honors with the top score in the Interview portion of the program.

Saturday brought the delegates to the Hopkins High School Auditorium for final rehearsal and the Pageant finals. Joined by the Hopkins Dance Center, students performed for the
audience as delegates completed the final areas of competition toward the titles of Teen, Miss, Ms, Mrs, Classic and Senior Ms Global United. That evening the Country Costume
brought Classic Ms Malaysia, Look Kah Hui to the top of the scores with an amazing feathered costume. The Personality Wear portion of the competition saw Rachel Campbell at
the top of the pack with her travel wear showing her love for international exploration. The final two areas of competition, Evening Wear and Onstage question were brought home to
Mikayla McCoy, of Minnesota.

Bringing home some of the optional awards were Mikayla McCoy for Photogenic, Michelle Hillman for Miss Congeniality and top auction item, and top ad page sales for Sonny
Turner and Jing Xu of Australia.

Joining the Global United Pageant as a Lifetime Queen, Donnell Brubaker, of Minnesota, was surprised by the lifetime appointment and joined her lifetime sisters on stage as a
new forever queen with the program.

Taking home the Ambassador titles this year were Jing Xu of Australia for People’s Choice and Michelle Hillman, of Australia for the Community Service Award.

The new Teen Miss Global United was Sonny Turner of Australia, Miss Global United was Rachel Campbell of Wisconsin, Ms Global United was Stephanie Trinh of Australia, Mrs
Global United was Illeana Miller of Minnesota, Classic Ms Global United was Look Kah Hui or Malaysia and our Senior Ms Global United was Jackie Burbidge of New Zealand.

In the end, more than 4,500 hours of community service work and volunteer time were contributed by all of the pageant delegates and titleholders, and childhood cancer research
and awareness came out as the top winner for pageant week.
