Meet Robbie Canner- Classic Ms Global United 2016-17 (Australia)

Hi Im Robbie Canner 59 years from Sydney Australia and the current Ms Classic Global United.

I competed in Global United after I won Ms Classic Australia which is the title I wanted to win as Childhood Cancer is close to my heart and winning the Global United opportunity has given opportunities to work further with my community platform and kids.

My hobbies are Cycling, Racing Outrigger Canoes and Gym work to keep fit. Some interesting facts about me are that I have won my class in Hawaii Outrigger Canoe racing twice, I have been associated with Tour De Cure raising funds for Cancer Research for 10 years, I am a Cancer survivor but unfortunately lost my son at 22 to cancer.

I have a lot of favourite memories with Global United from meeting all of the fabulous people, to Ronald McDonald house and the long time friends that will be a part of my life for a long time to come.

Being with Global has given me opportunity to combine as Sister Houses and Pen Pals RMH Sydney Childrens Hospital and RMH Minneapolis Twin cities and hope to continue to unite the sick kids and their families around the world.
